your music and Ear Collection

Notebook Player is a personal audio player by Ear Collection. We do not operate a server that receives your audio, music library or playlists. The app has no advertising, behavioral tracking or analytics SDK.

Google sign-in and file access

Google handles authentication. Notebook Player never receives your Google password. Authorization credentials are stored in the device Keychain and used to request files directly from Google.

The app requests Google's selected-file permission, called drive.file. This permission allows changes to authorized files, but Notebook Player only reads and downloads them. It does not scan your entire Drive. Google processes authentication and Drive requests under Google's privacy policy.

what stays on your device

The local library stores authorized file identifiers, filenames, file types, sizes and the date added when available. Playlist names and song order are stored locally. Search text and the playback queue stay in memory; your sort preference is saved locally.

Audio travels directly from Google Drive to the app's private playback cache. The current and next songs may be downloaded to prepare playback. Temporary audio is cleaned up during playback transitions, on a fresh launch and when you disconnect. This is not an offline-download feature.

The library index, playlists and playback cache are excluded from device backup. Ear Collection does not receive these files.

disconnecting and deleting

Use Connections to disconnect and revoke Google access. Successful revocation removes the app's saved Google credentials, library index and playback cache. If revocation fails, the app retains credentials so you can retry and tells you it did not complete. You can also revoke access through your Google account's connected-app settings.

Playlists remain on the device after disconnecting and can be deleted in the app. Removing the app removes its local container; do not rely on uninstalling alone to revoke Google access or remove Keychain credentials.

support and this website

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not send passwords, authorization tokens or private audio files. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Notebook Player has no in-app analytics. These Notebook Player website pages are not included in Ear Collection's application-level page counters. Google, Apple and the website hosting providers may process service requests under their own policies.

changes and contact

We will update this policy and applicable store disclosures when the app's data practices change.
