something stopped. something vanished. or you just need directions.

quick start

  1. choose a track from Files, or start music in another app that supports background playback.
  2. press record.
  3. open your lyrics or notes if you need them.
  4. return to Memo Track and press stop.
  5. play, share, or delete the saved take.

the other app stopped playing

Memo Track mixes with compatible background audio. The other app must also permit its own audio to continue after you leave it. If it refuses, import the audio file into Memo Track through Files.

the recording stopped in the background

Start recording before switching apps. Calls, alarms, microphone conflicts, shutdowns, or force-quitting Memo Track can still interrupt the recording. The phone remains a phone despite our objections.

the exported take

The saved file is the microphone recording, not a digital copy of the backing track. A track played through the phone speaker may be captured naturally by the microphone.

where recordings live

Takes stay in Memo Track's private storage on your iPhone until you share or delete them. Deleting the app can delete its local recordings. Save important takes somewhere else first.

microphone permission

Open iPhone Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Microphone, and enable Memo Track.

the support button did not work

The support purchase needs an App Store connection. If Apple cannot load or complete it, Memo Track still works exactly the same. Nothing is locked before or after a purchase.
